Overview
Since our inception in 1954, Trust Management, Inc.
("TMI") has recognized and respected our customers' right
to privacy.
In the course of our business, we have access to confidential
information concerning the financial affairs of existing and
prospective customers. We are committed to maintaining the
confidentiality of that information, which is consistent with our
company's core values of integrity, caring and excellence.
As we strive to meet the highest legal and ethical standards in
the conduct of our business, TMI observes both the spirit and the
letter of the law surrounding customer's privacy issues.
Maintaining the confidentiality of the information you entrust
with us is a responsibility we take very seriously. We
collect, maintain, use and share information about you only where we
reasonably believe that it will help administer our business,
services or other opportunities for you.
Throughout
the policy, we refer to information that personally identifies you
or your accounts as "personal information".

How does TMI protect the confidentiality and
security of my information?
- PEOPLE. We restrict access to your personal
financial information to personnel who need that information to
provide you with our products and services.
- POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. We maintain and
monitor our physical, electronic and procedural safeguards;
updating them as needed so that we may guard your personal
information.
- SECURITY. We maintain physical, electronic,
and procedural safeguards to protect information we store about
you from unauthorized access or disclosure of your personal
financial information.
What information does TMI collect from and
about me?
Depending on the nature of your relationship with us, we must
obtain certain information to meet legal and regulatory
requirements. In all cases we collect only personal financial
information that is either required or necessary to provide
personalized financial services to you. We collect
information that you provide to us when you open an account or
register for one of our services which my include your name,
address, phone number, social security number and email
address. We may also collect this same type of
information on others in your family as you may so designate.
Once you have opened an account with us, we may collect certain
personal information from third parties which may include investment
information and other personal information which may be disclosed in
statement format from another financial institution or
broker/dealer.
What information does TMI disclose to third
parties about me?
We do not sell your personal information to
anyone.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties,
unless you request or authorize it or one of the following limited
exceptions apply:
1. We may disclose personal
information in limited circumstances where we believe in good faith
that disclosure is required or permitted by law, for example, to
comply with regulators or external auditors.
2. The information is provided
to complete a transaction on your account.
3. We may disclose personal information to companies
that help us process or service your account.
Trust Management is highly selective in choosing vendors and
service companies that assist us in providing quality products and
services to our customers. We require that third parties
comply with strict standards regarding security and confidentiality
of such information. They are not permitted to release, or
sell any customer information we share with them or any other party.
Outside these exceptions, we will not share your personal
information with third parties unless you have specifically asked us
to do so, that is, opted in.
How will I know if TMI's privacy practices
have changed?
If, at any time in the future, it is necessary to
disclose any of your personal information in a manner that is inconsistent
with this policy, we will give you advance notice of the proposed
change so that you will have the opportunity to opt out of such
disclosure.
